Be wary of the posted hours. It was listed online as open but actually was closed and the gate locked when we got there. We got some good pics of dinosaurs though!

An awesome place for petrified wood and small geodes (only 80 cents apiece). Cruised in last Sunday, and they were open! That's saying a lot, as most stuff in this small town is not open on Sundays. The owner was friendly and my three-year-old son loved the dinosaurs. Make sure to buy your petrified wood here, not the overpriced gift shop in Petrified Forest National Park.
[April N, 09/28/2013]More dinosaur confusion. The previous tips mentioning "Dinosaurs at Rock Shop" and "Parking Lot Full of Dinosaurs" are both referring to the same place. It's the Rainbow Rock Shop in downtown Holbrook, and all the dinos are available for photo ops. There are signs everywhere saying things like "25 cents to take photos of dinosaurs" (with "Use own camera" added by hand later).
