- At the north end of E. River Drive. Turn west into the parking lot at Riverview Square and immediately turn right and park. You'll see a paved path paralleling the parking spaces; follow it to the left, around the back of the building. You'll see the sculpture up ahead on the right.

Career Column, created by Gar Waterman in 2005, is a sculpture that commemorates the many jobs Abraham Lincoln held throughout his life. Images of Abe as an inventor, surveyor, storekeeper, lawyer, circuit judge, postmaster, and politician are cut into the metal column, which stands along a Lincoln-themed sculpture walk next to the river.
