Located in the "Rubber Capital of the World," Stan Hywet Hall is the largest Tudor-Revival-style private residence in North America. Home of F. A. Seiberling, the founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., it's comparable to The Biltmore in size and popularity. The jewel of Akron -- hell, it's really the only thing worth seeing in Akron -- it has numerous gardens (including a miniature Zen garden) and greenhouses to explore, and secret passages throughout the mansion.
