There is a large potato outside the Canadian Potato Museum building.
[Christine Lillesand, 09/11/2015]
One can't help compare the Prince Edward Island Potato Museum to the Potato Expo Center in Blackfoot, Idaho. This museum is much larger and has more extensive displays, the best of which is a collection of diseased potatoes in coffins. They have a kitchen with free small samples of various potato confections, and there is, of course, a giant potato outside. All that's missing are the World's Largest Potato Crisp and the free taters for out-of-staters offered in Blackfoot.
