- From town drive south on Pecan St. until the stop sign at Nicholson St. Continue straight onto Hudson Drive. At the blinker light turn right onto Qualia Drive for a half-mile. You'll see the pink house on the left; there's a historical marker out front. Private property - visible from highway.

There's a historical marker. In the 1930s Dr. Brinkley's mansion was such an attraction that he built a parking lot across the street for visitors. No one was allowed on the property, but he had "dancing water" fountains in the front yard, colored light shows at night, and a live organist playing from inside the house through outdoor loudspeakers. However... a tunnel from the mansion to Mexico would have been at least two miles long. Even Dr. Brinkley wasn't that crazy.
