Port Austin, Michigan: Hocking's Emergency Ark - Barn Boat
Artist Scott Hocking took apart an old barn and rebuilt it in 2015 as a sad-looking, unseaworthy farm ark. Its official name is "Celestial Ship of the North," and a plaque is titled "Emergency Ark" -- but everyone calls it Barn Boat.

- I-75 exit 162A. Drive east on MI-25 for 60.5 miles. Turn right just past the brown Oak Beach County Park sign onto Oak Beach Rd. Drive a little over a mile. Turn left onto Fehner Rd. You'll see the Barn Boat ahead, on the right.
