- On the west side of GA-272, about 1.8 miles south of the railroad crossing in Oconee. There's a little pull-off beside the road. The monument is set back in the trees.

Granite slab six feet high and four feet wide marks a former well. A pig fell into it in 1933; the owner's neighbors shoveled dirt into the well for 12 days so that the pig could eventually climb out.
