- Akins Cemetery. From Sallisaw drive north on N. Wheeler Ave./US-59 for 3.5 miles. Turn right onto OK-101. Drive five miles. Turn right into the cemetery. Drive straight in until the roads ends in a T. Then walk straight ahead maybe 40-50 yards, veering to the slightly to the right, to the grave.

The Akins cemetery is located on Highway 101 between SR 4680 and 4690. Upon entering the cemetery drive straight until the road Ts and park. Walk straight ahead maybe 20 yards and you'll find his headstone along with his parents.
