On the five-acre campus of Caledonia Senior Living and Memory Care stands a life-sized statue of a kilted Scotsman in traditional regalia, affectionately known as "Uncle Pete." Pushing a nearby button, bagpipe music can be heard playing "The Craigielee March" which was the inspiration for the more popular tune, "Waltzing Matilda."
Also on the premises is the Scottish-American Museum and Hall of Fame, the world's only Scottish-American Museum.
