At one time, $1,000 notes were in general circulation. The Federal Reserve even printed $10,000 gold certificates. And if you have ever wondered what a million dollars look like, at the Money Museum you can see a stack of $40,000,000 in $100 bills. Plus, the museum encourages you to walk out of the building with one of its money bags filled with approximately $165 in shredded bills.
