This 36-feet (11 m) tall totem pole was recently installed near a busy intersection in Denver. It features seven animals in mosaic: buffalo (bison), snake, mountain lion, fox, ram, owl, and the bear. It is illuminated at night.

It's called, "La Veleta," which means, "the weather vane" in Spanish. The structure, created by artist Jaime Molina, is nearly 40 feet tall, and is a mosaic totem pole featuring seven animal heads built with tile. Each animal is native to Colorado. The animals include a buffalo, snake, mountain lion, fox, ram, owl, and bear.
