Auto Parts Paul Bunyan

RA.com Note: Perhaps it's a transcription error, but we recorded shooting a photo of the Car Parts Bunyan in Grayling, about 30 miles south of Gaylord on I-75, in 1991. Anyone know if he spent time there?

The Auto Parts Paul was indeed located in GRAYLING, Michigan, having moved to Alpena in June or July of 1998, shortly after I moved to Grayling in June, 1998. I started coming to Grayling as a kid, when my aunt and uncle moved there. Paul always greeted us as we came into town off of I-75. I was told that it was originally from Gaylord, but I guess it was in Grayling far longer than it was in Gaylord. Sadly, the location of the statue is now an empty lot, going on 13 years now.
