Texas outlaw Bill Longley supposedly killed 32 people before he was hanged in 1878.

Directions:
Giddings Cemetery. West edge of town. There are three entrances from the south side of US-290/W. Austin St. Take the middle entrance. Drive straight in, cross the first cross street, then look for a small group of trees on the right side. Bill is buried behind those trees, next to a small, low-to-the-ground historical marker.

Bill Longley was said to have killed 32 people. He was tried in Lee County and hanged in 1878 in Giddings.

A small historical plaque on the grave notes that the graveyard grew around it; when Bill was buried, it was outside the cemetery.
