Ossun, Louisiana: The Tree of Soles
Christian shoe tree. An original "Tree of Soles" once stood here, but was toppled by Hurricane Lili in 2002. Now three trees and a professionally-made sign encourage people to hurl their shoes.

- Directions:
- I-10 exit 97. Drive north on LA-93 for 2.5 miles. Turn left at the green Acadian Oaks sign onto Cocodril Rd. Drive two miles. You'll see the tree on the right, just after you pass a white fence and gated driveway.
