Abe stands, beardless and rumpled, with large articulated hands and big Lincoln size 14 feet. George Barnard spent 5 years sculpting the 11 tall bronze of President #16; dedicated in 1917. It was Teddy Roosevelt's favorite statue of Lincoln.
