Patrick Amiot sculpted and Brigitte Laurent painted this monocled frog, a scrap metal royal crowned with a revolving ventilator cap (which spun effortlessly in the breeze as we watched). Prince -- or King -- Frog stares with big orange reflector eyes. His head might be an old charcoal grill. He holds a huge jewel, set in a ring, in the drawer knob fingers of his left palm. Perhaps the bright blue bauble is offered to whatever sculpture on Florence Avenue will accept his desperate marriage proposals.
