I went in the summer, and the grass was too high to see the most decorative buses, but worth a stop purely for the uniqueness. Check in at the first house in the loop to pay the $10 fee.
[Lula Harp, 08/28/2023]Just pull over and clamber up the hill. If you drive down the smaller road (it's on the corner of a 4-lane and a small country road) and drive down to the car repair on the right, you can meet the owner. He's a gruff guy, but for $20 you can have access to the whole junkyard! Do not go behind the areas marked "Private" or "GO AWAY." He really does have cameras and he will call the cops on you. The vandalism is out of control over there.

When you turn on to Crane Mill Road, park on the shoulder right away, then follow the concrete spillway along the highway to a pathway up the hill to the buses.
[Amber Cook, 10/22/2020]
Park on the side of the road and walk back around and up the path to the line of buses.
