World Traveler Signpost

The signpost is no more! Couldn't find it so went into the Lake Store for directions. The lady pointed to a post broken off about a foot above the ground at the front of the parking lot. "I came to work one morning and it was gone." Looks like someone backed into it, broke it off. Nothing left of it, and she said she knows of no plans to rebuild it.

Fortunately, Maine has similar signposts in the towns of Lynchville and South China.

World Traveler Sign

Another roadside sign giving the distance between Maine towns with foreign city names. I came across this sign purely by accident as I was just traveling along Route 118.

Other, identical-in-concept Maine world cities/local towns signs are in Lynchville and South China.
