Free outdoor display of 200 Terracotta Warriors - the largest outside of China - and a big bloodied bird known as the Wounded Peace Dove.

- From US-231 turn north at the stoplight onto George Wallace Drive. Follow until you reach University Ave. (second stoplight). Turn left. Continue through one stoplight until you reach a traffic circle; take the first right onto International Drive/Luther Drive. At the first stop sign, you'll see the International Arts Center on the left. Park out front; then walk around the building. The bird is right out back; the warriors are a little further back, next to the pond.

The art gallery was interesting, and the indoor and outdoor terra cotta exhibit was excellent. It's on the Troy University campus -- gorgeous buildings and grounds!

Be sure to check out the International Art Museum while you are there. The Alice in Wonderland Exhibit was amazing.

Troy University's campus has a beautiful park that is home to 200 Terracotta Warriors, replicas of the originals found in Xi'an, China that date back to 210 BC. The park is a nice stroll and the International Arts Center is located in the park. It's a museum open seven days a week, with rotating art, largely featuring regional artists.

The terracotta soldiers are divided into three section around the lake. There is sidewalk access to all of them. They are on Troy University property. The museum is closed on Sundays.
The wounded dove is uninjured on one side of his face, and mangled on the other side.

On the campus of Troy University, in Janice Hawkins Cultural Art Park, are 200 massive Terracotta Warriors. They are on permanent display there. There is also a museum on campus. It is a huge collection.

The warriors were created by the late Huo Bao Zhu; it's the largest display outside of China. Also outdoors is the Wounded Peace Dove, a giant bird with a bloody head sculpted by Fred "Nall" Hollis.
