A great stop to see aircraft and learn the stories behind them, as well as the stories behind some regional heroes. There was work underway on building a large complex -- it looks like the park is going to have an indoor section.

A small park displays four military jets, a Vietnam-era helicopter, and one NASA jet. All 12 Apollo astronauts that walked on the moon have flown a NASA jet. Each of these aircraft was flown by a Kentucky-born pilot.
