Dino is almost hidden now by pines! Still loved to see him, though.
[Erica h, 09/05/2023]Remnants of Bedrock City attraction from years ago. The buildings are gone, but the dinosaurs and cars are scattered around. When you see Dino from the road, turn into the parking lot. The old train station is up on the hill. Follow the tracks (a little overgrown with grass and a couple sections missing in a couple areas) around the old park. Halfway around head further up the hill towards the resort and you will find a smaller Dino and the Flintstones car by the playground.

Driving around Custer, we saw this guy popping up out of the trees. The rest of the park is gone, but Dino was still there as of June 2021.

I couldn't figure out why there was a random Flinstones Dino in the middle of Custer, SD. With spotty phone service in town, I wasn't able to research. But now I'm home and was happy to find out the backstory from you guys (of course).
I wanted to let you know that Dino is still there as of mid-June. The figure certainly has not been kept up. I tried to inquire about Dino at the office of the business there, but it was closed.
[Anne Christiansen, 07/02/2020]After an unceremonious bulldozing of the classic Flintstones Bedrock City on the adjacent property, a big Dino survives on this boulder perch.

Dino has deteriorated since Bedrock City closed in 2015, but he appears to be made of durable concrete. Some fresh paint and he could be good as new.
