Darrell Cote made a large Canadian flag out of rocks in 1988. This is a quote from the 2004 edition of the Oxbow-Glen Ewen history book Further Along the Furrow: "My spirit combines with that of all Canadians at this site. I want to share this spirit with others as they drive by." Why did he do it? Darrell said "Because I am proud to be a Canadian!"
