Weird (but cute) taxidermy includes astronaut mice, a guinea pig Bigfoot, Doctor Frankensquirrel, and hundreds more. Artists Brandon and Julie Howey have dragged this dusty art-form into the 21st century, and possibly beyond.

The Wacky Taxidermy and Miniatures Museum

It's a whimsical museum full of unique taxidermy creatures. There are miniature dioramas full of amazing little scenes: a record store, a pet shop, an ice cream shop... and all the citizens of the town are mice wearing clothes! There are lots of other cool taxidermy creations, like the One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater, the fur-bearing trout, and the famous Fiji Mermaid!

Everything is created humanely by the owner and his wife, who are great people. Very unique and lots of fun!
