Erected in 1950 by the Boy Scouts, little Lady Liberty stands about eight feet tall and has been painted white.

Directions:
West side of town. From US-166/W. 11th St. turn north onto Read Ave. (no stoplight) and drive three blocks. When it ends at a T intersection, you'll see the small, white Liberty straight ahead.

The mini-Liberty in front of Field Kindley High School was a Boy Scouts of America "Strengthen the Arm of Liberty" project. Dedicated in 1950.

The "Strengthen the Arm of Liberty" campaign, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Boys Scouts, saw the erection of around 200 mini-Liberties across the USA. Some states don't have any, but Kansas has over two dozen.
