My sister was visiting and we decided to take her and her husband for the scenic tour of the AuSable River, and the Lumbermen's Monument was part of it. I recommend any visitors to our little town to take this tour down River Road. It's breathtaking.
[bordeauxbarb, 08/06/2020]This is a monument that has been set up kind of like a museum. It is dedicated to all the thousands of lumbermen who serviced Michigan, particularly the multitude of rivers in Iosco County. It is well worth the stop.
