A 60-foot-wide mural depicts two Studebakers, President Truman, and an old McDonald's restaurant. Truman was born in Lamar. The vehicles were owned by the grandfather of the fellow who commissioned the mural. The building itself was once owned by Wyatt Earp's family. Earp's first job was Marshal of Lamar, and his wife is buried there.
