These statues no longer face the highway. They have been updated and turned around, and a fence has been put around them to limit access.
[Dedra Jefferson, 09/03/2022]The dinosaur statues are cute, but the real dinosaur prints at Clayton Lake State Park are worth a visit as well. It's about 12 miles to the park. $5 admission and about a half mile hike. The prints are from multiple different kinds of dinosaurs and very well preserved. There are great interpretive signs for the site.

Three dinosaurs... two in little picket fences are next to the Clayton, New Mexico tourist center. My toddler thought they were fun! Free and worth a stop to stretch your legs.
[Adrienne G, 01/31/2020]
The statues are right in front of the Clayton Tourist Center.
[Nancy Ferguson, 04/29/2018]The local dinosaur connection is its rich lake spillway bed of 100 million year old fossilized footprints in Clayton Lake State Park.
Fun dinosaur statues to see if you're passing through.
