Low bridge walls are covered with colorful tiles in tribute to dead Austin broadcaster Larry Monroe. His smiling face is beatified in radiating mirror shards.

- South of downtown, south of the river. From S. Congress Ave. turn east at the stoplight onto Monroe St. Drive five blocks. Turn left at the stop sign onto East Side Drive. The Bridge is a quarter-mile up this road.

The Larry Monroe Forever Bridge is a memorial to Austin broadcaster and musical scholar Larry Monroe. The small bridge's low walls on either side of the road are decorated with sculpted mosaic tiles relating to Monroe and the music that he played on Austin radio for more than 30 years. Artist Stefanie Disefano designed the project.
It's not too far from Little Stacy Neighborhood Park.
