- South end of town. From US-98/S. Holland Pkwy turn east at the gas station (no stoplight) onto E. Mann Rd. Drive five blocks. The Wonder House will be on the left, set back from the road. If you turn left down tiny El Paso Trail, you can see the house on the right. Private property; visible from the street.

The place is clearly marked "No Trespassing." So I took some pictures of what I could see.

Conrad Schuck began construction of Wonder House in 1926 without power tools or blueprints. It's four stories of concrete reinforced with railroad ties. It features a 21-foot rotary cabinet and a bathtub big enough for an elephant. It is in the progress of restoration. Tours are available through online reservations.
