The biggest building mural, painted in 1998 by Kelly Meredith, was so popular that it spawned others in town. It depicts the 1892 Ashland National Bank, and overlooks the spot where it stood, which is now a parking lot. Standing and sitting in front of the bank are seven of the town's founders.
