The Spring that founded the town and healed the Osage Indians is in a park on South Main Street. Plan to spend a little time here relaxing. It has the original stone from 1881 that marked the spring. A gazebo built from local stone is the focal point, with a fountain of running water made of the same stone. Look for the old basin made of a solid stone quarried locally, as well as a few monuments.
