Corvette Burial

George Swanson loved his Corvette so much that he was buried in it in 1994. His tombstone has a small engraved image of the Corvette.

[Jody High, 08/31/2020]

If you dug up the Corvette you wouldn't see George's skeleton inside, because it was only his ashes that were buried with his beloved car. The urn was placed on the driver's seat along with a love note from his wife. An Engelbert Humperdinck tape sits in the Corvette's cassette deck, cued to his 1967 hit, "Release Me."
