When Preservation NC restored a couple of historic homes to serve as their new offices, George Morris's dog from Gotno Farm soon showed up out back, sitting on a wooden pallet in the middle of a bunch of construction debris. The statue is now sitting on a concrete slab, so it looks like it's been given a permanent home back there. I was really hoping it would be installed out front and near the street, but I guess that's not to be. Now if they'd just fix that later paint job that turned the dog bright pink (with polka dots) and made its eyes green....
