The future U.S. President stands atop a cement base on the northwest side of the Kansas State Capitol. This larger-than-life statue is in full military uniform.

The statue depicts Dwight Eisenhower as he looked talking to his troops a few hours before the D-Day landings. Its sculptor, Jim Brothers, died in his art studio five years before this statue was unveiled in 2018.
