A 12-foot-high pumpkin sculpture, made by local artist Greg Pavlik from repurposed materials, was given to the Anoka to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Anoka Halloween, Inc. It's outside Anoka City Hall along East Main Street.
Anoka is known as the "Halloween Capital of the World."

A roundabout is a giant jack-o-lantern face... located at the intersections of 4th/Military/Washington near downtown. Anoka claims to be the "Halloween Capital of the World."
[Haven, 04/18/2021]Anoka "is believed to be the first city in the United States to put on a Halloween celebration to divert its youngsters from Halloween pranks." Other Anoka photo-ops include a "witch medallion" outside city hall (2015 First Ave.) and a downtown mural with cartoon monsters (500 W. Main St).
Don't forget about Anoka, MN, the Halloween Capital of the World. During the month of October there is a large neon winking Jack-O-Lantern that sits on top of the Anoka City Hall, and the city's celebration is the week prior to Halloween.
