Not too far out of the way from 25. It is in a curve where cars are coming fast.
[Mel Day, 09/05/2023]
Between mile marker 10 and 10.5 on Highway 105, outside of Palmer Lake, drivers and cyclists should be on the lookout for six critters on the loose. Last spotted gathered in a curve in the road were an ostrich, eagle, kangaroo and her joey, monkey, giraffe, and an elephant. They are made of horseshoes and files by a local gentleman for his granddaughter. There are easy pullouts on either side of the road to park and take pictures.
