The Spam Museum has moved downtown to the corner of 3rd Ave. and Main St. in Austin. Fun, interactive displays, and the guides are super friendly and have tons of info. No spam samples. There's an indoor play space for kids.

The receptionist greets you immediately as you pass under the "Great Wall of Spam" (which you might miss otherwise). Be prepared to spend a good hour or two in this fabulous museum. We spent the most time in the extensive gift shop, chock full of SPAM T-shirts, umbrellas, mouse pads, and many other items.
