Las Vegas, Nevada: Las Vegas Arches

A pair of retro-style Las Vegas entry arches over Las Vegas Blvd. Built in 2020, a subtle snub to everything south of it, which, technically, is in a different town. 80 feet high. Glows at night with thousands of light bulbs.

The Arch crosses Las Vegas Blvd next to the Strat tower, midway between downtown and The Strip.
Lit at night. Local health policies may affect hours and access.

Las Vegas Blvd Arch

Vegas has an arch! The maybe-completed span covers Las Vegas Boulevard next to the Stratosphere tower. It underlines the fact that when you pass the Strat you are no longer in Vegas! Everything south of it, MGM, Caesars, etc., are all in Paradise, Nevada, not Vegas. I'm a local and there are occasional small town political dust-ups over that fact.

The arch -- a crossed pair of arches -- cost $6.5 million, is 80 feet high, and glows blue at night.
