Maine humorist "The Humble Farmer" (Robert Skoglund) and his wife Marsha own the Humble Farmer Bed and Breakfast. His wit and humor can be found everywhere on their property. Going by the prophecy that "If you can't prove it to be, and if you can't prove it not to be, it could be," he proclaimed that his front yard is the Center of the Universe. In 1980 he built a 16-foot-high granite monolith with a monkey playing a trumpet at the top. "I had never built anything like that and I expected it to fall over in three years," he told me.
