Brookie the Trout
Brookie the Trout was created by artist John Sendelbach out of stainless steel cutlery donated by residents of Greenfield and Franklin County. The sculpture honors the first cutlery factory in the U.S. to use the American factory system. That was in 1836, and the factory was in Greenfield.
