Creepy Concrete People Statues
This odd assortment of cast concrete human statues, all dressed differently, stand outside a fenced property and are visible along Old Hwy 80 just west of Jacumba. I suspect they're intended to be scarecrows to ward off immigrants crossing the nearby Mexican border, but they could also simply be a roadside art project. There are over a dozen of them, some hiding further back in the hills. Best to view them from the highway without disturbing the property owners.
