Glued together in 1929 -- using concrete, rock, shells, tiles, stalagmites, and petrified wood -- by Father Paul Dobberstein, a prolific grotto-builder. Small yet ornate.

- North edge of the city. From downtown drive north to 22nd St. Turn right (east) drive to the big red brick church, then turn left at the stoplight onto Windsor Ave. Drive north a little over a mile. Turn right at the sign for the Sisters of St. Francis. Drive to the big building and bear left. You'll quickly see the grotto on the left.
