The story behind the first airliner is wonderful. History plaques are all over the promenade. Read them. Its basically a full-sized replica aluminum plane on a stick. Pay to park. Really busy area, as there are many visitors in that area for other reasons. If you like aviation history, or just history, it's a pleasant surprise.
