101-foot-high obelisk, dedicated in 1913, commemorates the casualties of the 1791 Battle of the Wabash (also known as St. Clair's Defeat), and the 1794 Battle of Fort Recovery -- the greatest bloodbaths ever inflicted on the U.S. military by Native Americans.
