One of the few ghost towns with its own parking lot. From US-93 turn west onto ID-75. Drive eight miles. Turn west onto the dirt road, cross the bridge over the Salmon River, turn right and then left onto Bayhorse Creek Rd. Drive three miles to Bayhorse.

Bayhorse Ghost Town

Located in the Land of the Yankee Fork State Park, visitors to Bayhorse ghost town can still see the ovens that were used to make charcoal for the smelter, as well as some buildings along the dirt main street. There are also many trails nearby to to hike, bike, and explore on ATVs or motorbikes.
