Kenyon College's Gund Gallery has placed many sculptures outdoors around campus. One of the more interesting is a somewhat controversial display named Five Angel Musicians, which was installed in 2001. The sculpture was created by Swedish artist Carl Emil Milles (1875-1955) and was cast in bronze posthumously. The sculpture consists of naked and anatomically complete angels perched upon five concrete poles. Each one is playing a musical instrument which resembles a horn or possibly a trumpet.
