Kokomo, Indiana: Willie the Whale
Built in 1964 for the Indianapolis Children's Zoo, 16 feet tall, Willie once had a fish tank in his walk-in mouth. Restored to his original appearance and moved to this spot in 2019.

We visited Willie the Whale on May 22, 2021. He lives at Foster Park in Kokomo, Indiana. He is well restored, and the park is a great place to walk around and stretch your legs. It was a nice stop. Kokomo has lots of hidden gems!
