Gloucester, Massachusetts: Cape Ann Sea Serpent Statue

Bronze statue by Chris Williams of a monster often seen offshore in the early 1800s. Much, much smaller than the beast's reported 100-foot length; it's a mix of cheery ambassador and leering terror.

Statue of the Cape Ann Sea Serpent

Visited the Sea Serpent and was able to snap a picture. Very detailed and a little freaky looking. Overall a cool sculpture.
