Many people will notice the six-foot-high equatorial design sundial monument, and not notice its partner monument: a brass representation, dozens of feet long, of the Grand River, its tributaries, and plates with town names and founding dates along the rivers. The site overlooks the Grand River, its Musical Fountain, and lighthouse and pier.
Although the town has heated sidewalks for the winter, the Brass River and Sundial do not -- so if there's snow on the ground the Brass River will not be visible.
