I have been looking at a muffler man for the past ten years and I didn't even know it was a muffler man until I saw the Muffler Man Website! There is a cowboy muffler man in Scottyland Campground in Rockwood, PA. It is dressed like a cowboy and we call him Uncle Sam. It's in great shape and gets painted fairly regularly.
[Ken, 09/30/2003]I have pictures of this "muffler man" at Scottyland since 1967. He has been lots of people (cowboy, army man, scotsman, uncle sam) over the years. Today he is a cowboy greeting campers to the campground.
